EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal 2024-2026
EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal 2024-2026
The project is being implemented within the framework of Creative Europe Programme (CREA)
Project implementation period is 3 years (2024-2026)
Project aim is to create a strong European community of environmentally conscious and responsible young people, who are aware of climate challenges and know how to face them. The unique educational platform with sustainable focus brings the green agenda addressed in the European Green Deal to young citizens of all backgrounds – through films and discussions in the cinemas with recognized and often well-known experts and an innovative streaming platform with a strong didactic narrative www.euyc.green.
Project tasks
While promoting the European Green Deal in its name, EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal is driven by sustainability and the need to provide a first-rate and film-oriented program dedicated to the Green Deal which will increase the awareness about this topic among the audiences.
The entire program is freely accessible to all registered school classes, and partially available for a wider international audience, too (also free of charge). The carefully curated films focus on experience exchange, presenting solutions for climate protection, introducing eco-friendly initiatives as well as promoting green habits and a greener, healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
